Terms

These are the terms for using Moi. They are short because Moi does one thing.

What Moi is

Moi gives you a page at moi.me/yourname that you control. You decide what it says. We host it and show it to whoever visits.

Your account

You need a working email address. That address is how you sign in and how you get your page back if you lose access to it, so keep it current.

One person, one page, for now. Do not create accounts on behalf of someone else without their permission.

Your name on Moi

Your handle is yours while you use it. If you never confirm your email address, the handle is released after 7 days. If a confirmed account goes completely unused for 24 months, with no visits to your page and no sign-in, we may reclaim the handle after emailing you and waiting 30 days. We will never take a handle from a page people are actually visiting.

Some names are protected: system routes, well-known brands, institutions, and a small number of public figures. Protected does not mean unavailable. If a protected name is genuinely yours, ask us and we will tell you what proof we need.

What you may not do

Do not use Moi to impersonate someone, to host or link to malware or phishing, to run link farms or SEO spam, or to break the law.

If we act on your page we will tell you the specific thing that caused it, keep your data while you appeal, and let a person review it. We will not remove you silently.

Pages for characters

You may make a page for a fictional character you created, such as an AI influencer. That page always says it is an AI-generated fictional character; you cannot remove the label, and you may not use the page to present the character as a real person or to imitate one. You may show your name or studio as the creator, or leave it out. Either way you, through your account, are responsible for the page.

Character pages may not carry sexual content or link to paid adult sites. If a character page does, we will tell you what it was, and the appeal process above applies.

Your content is yours

You keep ownership of everything you put on Moi. You give us permission to store it and show it on your page, which is the whole point. That permission ends when you delete your page.

Leaving

You can delete your page at any time, from your own dashboard, without asking anyone. You get all your data back in one file at the moment you ask. Your page goes offline immediately. Signing back in within 30 days undoes it. After 30 days it is erased for good and we send you a receipt of what was destroyed.

What we promise

Your page will not carry advertising. We will not sell your data. We will not use what you write to train AI models.

What we do not promise

Moi is new. It may break, and we may change it. We do not guarantee uptime, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you: the export button exists for exactly this reason.

Changing these terms

If we change anything material we will tell you, and we record which version of these terms you agreed to.
