Delete your Moi page
You do not need to be signed in to start this, and you do not need to ask us.
What happens
- Your page goes offline immediately. The address stops resolving.
- You get all your data back in one file, at the moment you ask, before anything is destroyed.
- You have 30 days to change your mind. Signing in during that window restores everything.
- After 30 days it is erased for good and we email you a receipt listing what was destroyed.
What survives, and why
- Your handle is held for 12 months before anyone else can take it, so nobody can take your name and be mistaken for you.
- If we removed the page for abuse, the reason and a one-way hash survive so the same person cannot immediately return. Nothing personal survives with it.
Everything else goes: your facts, their history, your sections, your subscribers, and your analytics.
How we check it is you
We email a sign-in link to the address on the account. Clicking it does not delete anything, it signs you in; the delete button is on the next page. That is deliberate, because mail software follows links on its own.
Lost access to the email too? Reply to any message we have sent you, or see help. A person reads it.
